Wreck Tapes

Wreck Tapes is a two-channel sound installation. The work is composed of recordings transduced from hand-made magnetic tape. The tape was constructed from the oxidized metal flotsam of a shipwrecked freighter that ran aground in 1969 during a winter gale in the Baltic Sea.
